Here’s my personal pick of top tank heroes, along with a ranking. At the end of the article, I’ve also included recommended sigils for each hero. Just for reference, so don’t take it as set in stone

Surla

One of the most powerful tanks in the game, thanks to her unique skill, Mermaid Revenant, which has two parts: Mermaid Puppet and Revenant. The Mermaid Puppet heals Surla and boosts her damage reduction and defense, while Revenant increases your team’s ATK and crit rate.

But here’s the thing—Surla is really hard to get. She’s not a great pick for the early stages of the server, and here’s why: you won’t be able to farm enough copies to upgrade her stars anytime soon. Even whales can’t rush her. So I’d recommend saving her for the later stages of the server.

Luna

A semi-tank who can soak hits and can cause damages. Lunar Blade strikes a row and can apply Moonlight to lower enemy attack or crit. Lunar Shield boosts her durability and attack. Lunar Radiance hits all enemies, with extra true damage to Moonlight targets, and can inflict Disorder or Hemorrhage depending on positioning. Lunar Phase is key—front row converts Moonlight damage to her HP, back row boosts enemy crit for clever positioning. Reliable at taking hits, controlling enemies, and causing chaos.

Prince Charm

Not your typical Warrior—he’s a semi-tank who can tank and deal damage. Heroic Heart boosts stats and gives extra basic attacks when allies act. Holy Light protects him at low HP, removing debuffs while boosting damage and mitigation. King’s Light stacks power for King’s Sword, hitting all enemies and applying Electric Shock (synergizes well with Shock heroes like Allish or Wisdom Bird). Solid, versatile frontline presence.

Molly

Classic frontline tank. Holy Shield absorbs damage, heals herself, and protects allies. Noble Norm boosts stats and stacks Defense Shields. Nightly Slam deals true or physical damage depending on shields. Blood Oath & Shield blocks fatal damage for allies and boosts Light team ATK. Keeps herself and her team safe while supporting damage.

Federn

Can take hits while pressuring enemies. Feather Rain hits all enemies and lowers DEF and crit, great vs squishies. Feather Protection boosts HP, ATK, and mitigation. Feather Volley hits the front row and applies Lightborne Marks, which trigger on being hit to punish attackers. Solid frontline support who survives, controls, and dishes steady damage.

Shahryar

A sturdy frontline tank who absorbs damage and protects allies. Soul Soother dispels debuffs, heals, and creates a Healing Shield. Dream Guardian boosts stats and reduces damage as his HP drops. Wildest Fables deals true damage to front/mid enemies with a chance to burn, while granting self Healing Over Time. Protective Book automatically aids low-HP backline allies each round, transferring damage and giving extra mitigation. Durable, supportive, and a reliable semi-tank.

Genie Cuya

Frontline hero who can absorb hits and shield allies. Genie Aid transfers damage from allies to himself while boosting mitigation and crit resist. Genie Tenacity increases HP, DEF, and damage reduction. Soul Regeneration heals and dispels debuffs. Genie Power turns normal attacks into a 3-hit combo that lowers enemy DEF and counters when attacked. Protects teammates, punishes attackers, and keeps outputting.

Triton

A good frontline hero. Neptune Storm damages and taunts enemies, especially Warriors. Neptune Build boosts survivability. Neptune Aid shields the ally with highest ATK, transfers damage, dispels debuffs, and boosts mitigation and RES for both. Decisiveness retaliates when attacked, with guaranteed crits vs Warriors. Strong, reliable tank who controls enemies and protects teammates.
